1997 Young Birds Results

1997 was a difficult year health-wise. Horst had two heart angioplasties, one at the end of Old Birds and another midway through Young Birds, and a mild heart attack in between. The months in between were, literally, a life and death struggle. Naturally, the racing team took second priority. After the second operation, we were able to devote more time to the birds. Here, we show our results for the end of the season.
