How to Order

At Hackemer Lofts, we strive to send birds with the characteristics you prefer most. When ordering, please be as specific as possible concerning your likes and dislikes. If we do not have what you want, we will tell you. We cull youngsters severely. The birds available to you in the fall and winter are top quality birds. The majority of the birds sold are yearlings.

The standard 50% deposit is required when placing an order, and the balance is due before we ship the birds. Each shipment that leaves Hackemer Lofts comes with a complete guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied when you pick up the birds, send the shipment back to us within a week. We will refund your money immediately.

If you would like to purchase pigeons from our web site, DO NOT email your credit card information to us (or anyone else, for that matter). Email messages are NOT ENCRYPTED, which means anyone with malicious intent could intercept the message and steal your information. Instead, please use our online order form, which is on a secure server that encrypts all transactions.

The birds we send out are usually mailed via the U.S. Postal Service. We charge a flat fee of $40.00 for one or two birds and $50.00 for three or more, which includes the container and postage. If you prefer using an airline, we can make those arrangements as well
