Cadet and Captain are undoubtedly the two birds that have made the Meulemans so popular in this country. Their distinctive muscle, feathering, and eyes have set the standard for Meulemans.
Captain is a grandson of the original Meulemans Kadet. He was as perfect a specimen as they come. He had a dark pearl eye which was mistaken for a violet eye by most who saw it. As a breeder, we have never owned one any better. Many lofts across the country have benefitted from Captain's prepotent genetic strength.
