It is almost inevitable that when you see an outstanding yellow or dun colored Janssen in one of the pigeon publications, it traces back to Hackemer Lofts and this incredible breeding pair. They bred 15 First Combine winners for us, flying against an average of over 1000 birds per race. 3 of their sons (Elliot, John Henry, and "455") were AU Champions. Elliot, the cock with the best record, had six different First Combine wins to his credit. The offspring of the Yellow Bar Pair have produced numerous champion birds and Hall of Fame pigeons for other lofts as well.
