Pigeon flyers often ask (and rightly so, we think) whether or not the highly touted bloodlines they hear about really make a difference. At Hackemer Lofts, we have always maintained that bloodlines mean nothing without performance, and we've always been proud that our bloodlines have performed at the highest level. 98 USC 0302 is yet another example that we mean what we say. Flying against 459 birds at 163 miles, she won a First Federation on September 20, 1998.
0302 carries the Meulemans' Golden Couple throughout her pedigree. Her sire is a son of King Kadet and 1719. King Kadet is the son of Kadet, son of the Golden Couple. 1719 is a daughter of Bonte, the fabulously pre-potent grandson of the Golden Couple. 0302's dam is a daughter of Son Benjamin and B87-2259694. Son Benjamin is a son of Benjamin, the last of the Golden Couple's offspring. B87-2259694 is another daughter of Bonte. Put it all together, and the end result is a pigeon that not only looks good on paper but, more importantly, looks good on the race sheet as well.
