Every once in a while, a special pigeon comes along that stands out above the rest. Hackemer Lofts may have found another such pigeon. Earlier this young bird season, 98 LCC 8057 had already shown great promise, winning Fifth against 634 birds at 140 miles and Sixth against 822 birds at 163 miles. On August 23, 1998, she added emphasis to an already impressive start with a First Federation victory against 500 birds at 221 miles. 8057 is a daughter of Atlas, and also carries Atlas through her dam. She provides yet another example of the kinds of results we have come to expect from our superior breeding stock.
UPDATE: 98 LCC 8057 has done it again. On September 13, 1998, she won Third against 453 birds on a very hard hot 300 mile race.
