Hackemer Lofts was fortunate enough to win yet another First Federation victory on August 16, 1998. Flying from 160 miles, 98 USC 0322 was the fastest of 822 competitors. Once again, our superior Meulemans bloodlines made their presence felt on the race course. 0322 is a daughter of Curly Joe, a golden-eyed son of the Bronze Bar Cock who throws green-eyed youngsters. Not coincidentally, 0322's dam (a daughter of Bismarck) is the second hen with which Curly Joe has bred a First Combine or First Federation winner.
UPDATE: 98 USC 0322 has done it again. On September 13, 1998, she won Second against 453 birds on a very hard hot 300 mile race.
