Winning a First Combine against major competition is never an easy task. Imagine winning two on the same day. Hackemer Lofts did just that on August 2, 1998. On the first race, 98 NVC 0473, son of our super Janssen breeder The Slate (a grandson of the Jonge Merckx) took top honors against 634 birds. 98 LCC 8004, a daughter of Andre, won the second race against 682 birds.
